We are pleased to announce that we are adding a part-time position at WearWoof for the busy holiday season. The position is Retail Associate. The focus of the position, aside from point of sale, customer service, waiting on Dolly hand and foot (or so she would like), and other store operations, will be our fashion inventory and upcoming Holiday Collection.
This position is about 10 hours per week on average, typically scheduled for a combination of Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and/or Saturdays, and will include some evening hours. This temporary position ends on December 31, 2017. The pay rate for the position is $10/hour.
Qualifications include high school diploma, at least one year retail experience (preferably in women's fashion), reliable transportation, the ability to bend and reach, lift up to 45 lbs, and stand up to 8 hours per day, previous point-of-sale software experience (consignment software experience is a plus), the ability to accurately count and make change, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Note that this job involves interaction with animals, including dogs, cats, and farm animals, and that a cat lives on the premises.
